our mission
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
“Perhaps the question is not, ‘Can we afford to provide decent housing and basic services for all humans?’ Rather, it is, ‘Can we—the human species—afford not to?’”
— Dr. Greg Goldstein, World Health Organization, Geneva, Switzerland
our growth
Union County Habitat for Humanity opened its doors in 1991 with the mission to provide decent affordable housing to lower-income families. Union County Habitat began building 5 houses per year, but has grown to building 8-12 houses. Union County Habitat for Humanity is also proud to serve residents in Chesterfield and Anson Counties as well.
